Order note sync to Shopify Order in BC
The order note that can be entered by staff on a Shopify order in the Shopify store, will be synced to the Shopify order in Dynamics 365 Business Central to a new field “Work Description”. When a Shopify order is converted to a Sales order, the value of 'Work Description' is put in the field 'Work Description' of the Sales order.
Setup for SKU
The SKU was filled in the past with the item no. from Dynamics 365 Business Central the items when synced to the Shopify store.
It’s possible with this feature to setup the field you want to use to fill the SKU on an item in the Shopify store, by filling the new field “SKU Type” on the Shopify Shop Card in Dynamics 365 Business Central with one of the following options:
• Item No. (default value)
• Item No. + Variant
If you choose the option “Item No. + Variant” as “SKU Type”, you also have to define a “SKU Field Separator”, e.g. | .
Possibility to sync items in bulk from Shopify store
The synchronization of e.g. items from the Shopify store to Dynamics 365 Business Central is updated so the possibility of e.g. 14.000 items is possible.
Synchronization of extra info item to setup
Extra item info i.e. extended text and item attributes, won’t be synchronized by default to Shopify. If you want to change this, you can setup the new fields “Sync Item Extended Text” and “Sync Item Attributes” on the Shopify Shop Card in Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Factbox for Shopify Products
A factbox is added to the list of the Shopify Products, i.e. “Item Details - Invoicing”. It’s possible now to go the item card of the linked item in Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Barcode isn’t synced to Shopify store
We solved the issue that the Barcode setup in the Item Cross References of an item in Dynamics 365 Business Central, wasn’t synced to the Shopify store.
Stock problem when there are orders with shipment date in the future
The synchronization of the stock to the Shopify store wasn’t always correct for an item if there were orders with a shipment date in the future for this item. In the standard function of Dynamics 365 Business Central, these number were counted double. We addressed this issue so there’s no problem with orders with a shipment date in the future.
“Add Items” doesn’t work if there aren’t already lines in the Shopify Products list
On executing the action “Add Items” in the list of the “Shopify Products”, you receive an error concerning the shop code when there isn’t at least 1 line in the list of the “Shopify Products”. This issue is solved.
